By creating an account or using AI Backtester, you agree to these terms. They are short and meant to be read.

1.What this is — and isn’t
AI Backtester simulates how trading rules would have done on past market data. It is a research tool. It is not financial advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
A backtest describes the past under stated assumptions. It does not predict the future, and good past results are no promise of future ones. Trading, especially with leverage, can lose more than you put in. Any trading decision is yours alone.
AI Backtester holds no money and places no orders on your behalf.
2.Your account
Keep your password and API keys to yourself: anyone holding a key can act as you through the API. Revoke a key on the account page if you think it has leaked.
You must be 18 or older to use AI Backtester.
3.What you publish
Strategies you save on the free plan are public, as you are told when you save. You keep ownership of your strategies; by publishing one you let us show it, its results and your handle on AI Backtester, and let other people read and run it.
Don’t publish anything you don’t have the right to, or anything meant to mislead — for example, results presented as live trading when they are not.
4.Fair use
Each plan has a weekly backtest limit, shown on your account page. Please don’t try to get around it, attack or overload the service, scrape it, or resell access to it. We may suspend accounts that do.
5.No guarantees
We work hard to make the numbers correct, and explain every assumption behind them. Even so, the service is provided as it is, without guarantees that it is error-free or always available, and market data can contain gaps or mistakes.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses or other losses arising from using AI Backtester, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
6.Not affiliated
AI Backtester is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Binance, Anthropic, Google or any exchange. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
7.Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and significant changes are announced on the site. Questions go to support@aibacktester.app. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
